Organizers are seeking technically sound papers on any topic concerning pulp and paper control systems and related subjects that can potentially benefit pulp and paper producers, with a specific focus on experiences from real mill implementations.

Process control solutions in the wood yard, pulping, recovery, power generation, paper machine operations, and wastewater treatment.

Challenges and solutions related to cybersecurity in mill automation systems.
APC (Advanced Process Control) Performance and Sustainability
Key factors affecting the long-term performance of APC solutions and effective strategies to achieve their sustainability.

Submission Requirements
The submitted abstract should briefly describe the objectives, solution techniques, results, and conclusions (maximum 2 pages). Abstracts must be submitted through TAPPI’s Speaker Management System by October 20, 2025. Read more in Tappi Speaker Resources.

International Program Committee
The final scientific content, invited lectures, panels, and sessions for the conference will be developed with the assistance of the International Program Committee consisting of professionals from North America, Europe and Asia.
The organizers include representatives from the leading technical associations within the North American and Nordic pulp and paper industries, namely TAPPI, PAPTAC, SPCI, PTF and PI.
